ALP500 Main Application


ALP500 is an dual-rotor online degasser, mainly designed for online launder or degassing box. This system eventually will be wielded to degassing box and become an indispensable support equipment on the production line, providing continuous online degassing for AL melt. Recommended degassing medium: 99.996% pure nitrogen or argon.


ALP500 Mechanical Parameters


1.Dual-rotor design, same rotation, rotation speed and gas flow control for individual rotor.

2.The two rotors can be separated with heat insulation cover individually. Dismounting of a single rotor does not affect usage of another.

3.Electric chain lift.

4.The system can be customized as swing type on demand.

5.System is set with a special dross removal window, with no interfere to degassing.

6.Fast connector for power and gas circuit.

7.External dry air connection interface for air cooling fans, spindle and bearing.

8.Taper hooks above both rotors, convenient for dismantlement and maintenance.

4.The two rotors can be separately set for gas flow. Degassing Medium: Industrial dry nitrogen or argon, 99.996% pure.

5.Degassing gas input pressure: 0.40.6MPa, auto gas replace warning when pressure lower than 0.2Mpa.

6.Manual and auto mode, switchable. Warning light alert and alarm when degassing time ends. 

7.Degassing time setting device: 0.01S999H, adjustable.

8.One button full-auto mode available after parameter setting.

9.Manual emergency shut-down button.

ALP500 Degassing Principles


Inject pre-set quantity of inert gas into theALmet through rotating graphite shaft and rotor. The rotor disperses the inert gas into millions of small bubbles, evenly into the melt. Small inert gas bubbles capture hydrogen and nonmetallic impurities, then altogether flow to the melt surface.
