ALP370 Fixed Type Square Tube Swing Degasser


ALP370 Main Application


ALP370 is a manual and auto swing degasser, with square tubes as support. The system is designed for application sites with especially high or deep furnaces which require longer degassing shaft and rotor. The system can be customized as extra high, and with extra long shaft to fit degassing and refining in those large and deep furnaces. It can be applied to specified furnace for online or batch degassing, also to two furnaces of the same type for in-turn degassing. Degassing medium: 99.996% pure nitrogen or argon, provided by gas center and gas cylinders can be set aside the degasser.


ALP370 Mechanical Features


1.Fixed type, 90º swing angle, manual/auto mode switchable, can serve for two furnaces in turn.

2.System can be customized as reverse rotation dual-rotor type based on square tube.

3.System height, swing angle and travel length can be customized on demand.

4.Chain-type lift, simple, firm and fast.

5.Rotor speed from 0~600RPM, data display adjustable, time settable and one button full-auto mode available.

6.The device is equipped with independent air cooler for heated key parts to avoid over-heat damages.


ALP370 Eletrical Parameters and Features

3.Degassing time setting: 0.01S999H, adjustable.

4.Degassing Medium: Industrial dry nitrogen or argon, 99.996% pure.

5.Degassing gas input pressure: 0.40.6MPa, auto gas replace warning when pressure lower than 0.2Mpa.

6.Manual and auto mode, switchable. One press to complete a degassing process under auto mode. Press to activate auto mode, degasing arm auto descends to start degassing and timing begins. Degassing completes when time ends. System auto stops rotation and auto elevate to upper limit, awaiting next degassing process.


ALP370 Advantages


1.The system can electric swing at 90 º horizontally, and can be applied to multiple furnaces for in-turn usage. Convenient for parts replacement.

2.Two rotors structure types available, square tube type can degas for large and deep furnaces.

3.Square tube can be designed as multi-rotor system to achieve online multi-level degassing. Rotation speed and gas flow can be optimized as required.

4.H type structure can choose to equip auto chain lift or hydraulic lift. Square tube type can only use dual-chain lift. Degassing arm can be manually elevated to prevent consumable parts solidifying withALmelt caused by electric lift failure at power down.

6.Rotary shaft speed and degassing time can be set. In auto mode, Degassing arm auto-descends to start degassing and timing begins. Degassing completes when time ends. Degassing arm auto elevates to upper limit. Process will repeated when system restarts.

7.High efficiency usage of nitrogen or argon. Improves inert gas efficiency by providing uninterrupted mixing. Less labor work and shorter degassing time. More importantly, this system provides a stable mixing, making more homogenized melt, raising cast yielding rate and improving cast mechanical performance..

8. Degassing efficiency is  around 65%, up to National Degassing Standard Level 1 tested by Vacuumed Gas Detector.


ALP370 Degassing Principles


Inject pre-set quantity of inert gas into theALmet through rotating graphite shaft and rotor. The rotor disperses the inert gas into millions of small bubbles, evenly into the melt. Small inert gas bubbles capture hydrogen and nonmetallic impurities, then altogether flow to the melt surface.
