ALP400 Manual Swing AL Melt Online Degasser
ALP400 Main Application
ALP400 is an online degasser, equipped with electric lift and swing degassing arm. System can be installed at furnace edge, specially customized for continuous melting and holding furnaces. This system can be installed at the edge of integrated holding and melting furnaces to provide continuous homogenized mixing and degassing, effectively solving the problems of this sort of furnaces caused by lacking efficient degassing room and methods or low degassing efficiency of ceramic degassing pipes.
ALP400 Mechanical Parameters
1.Fixed installation at the furnace edge, even with limited installation space. Electric chain-lift up & down degassing arm. The arm can be manually swing.
2.Device height and travel range can be customized according to client’s furnaces, normal swing angle 90°.
3.Rotor belt driven, speed from 0~600RPM, data display adjustable, time settable and one button full-auto mode available.
4.Degassing arm can be lifted up when power down to avoid solidification of shaft inside of the melt.
5.Low limit switch can be adjusted to adapt furnaces of different depths.
6.The device is equipped with independent air cooler for heated key parts to avoid over-heat damages.
7.With good heat insulation and air cooling by independent cooler fans, the system can be applied to online degassing.
ALP400 Electrical Parameters
1.Button press control box.
2.Power: 3-phase 380V~50Hz, 3Kw
3.Rotor speed from 0~600RPM, data display adjustable, gas flow volume 0.25~2.5Nm3/H, adjustable.
4.Degassing Medium: Industrial dry nitrogen or argon, 99.996% pure.
5.Degassing gas input pressure: 0.4~0.6MPa, auto gas replace warning when pressure lower than 0.2Mpa.
6.Manual and auto mode, switchable.
7.Degassing time setting device: 0.01S~999H, adjustable.
8.Auto degassing under auto mode, auto-stop spinning and auto-lifting after degassing, auto-stop gas supply.
9.One button full-auto mode available after parameter setting.
10.Manual emergency shut-down button.
ALP400 Advantages
1.Fixed installation at the furnace edge as an online degasser, providing possible degassing operation for integrated continuous melting and holding furnaces
2.Electric chain-lift and swing degassing arm make it convenient for dross removal and consumable parts replacing.
3.Degassing arm can be manually lifted up by handle to prevent consumable parts solidifying withALmelt caused by electric lift failure at power down.
4.Less space occupation, easy-to-learn operation, manual/auto mode switchable, one button full-auto mode available.
5.Degassing time settable, auto-descent degassing, light warning after degassing and auto-elevation.
6.In manual mode, continuous degassing is settable
7.Efficient usage of nitrogen or argon, less degassing time, automatic degassing, repeatedly quality casting guaranteed.
8.Above twice the efficiency than that of f traditional ceramic degassing tube, more homogenized alloy yield after mixing.
9.Remarkable degassing effects, higher casting yield, improving casts mechanical performance.
10.Best rotate speed and gas volume setting available according to the various melts density.
11.Compact and durable, low cost maintenance.
12.System can be customized according to different types of furnaces.
ALP400 Degassing Principles
Inject pre-set quantity of inert gas into theALmet through rotating graphite shaft and rotor. The rotor disperses the inert gas into millions of small bubbles, evenly into the melt. Small inert gas bubbles capture hydrogen and nonmetallic impurities, then altogether flow to the melt surface.
